I Built the System. Now I'm Telling You How It Works.

I spent 20 years leading Talent Acquisition at the senior level, building the hiring systems, workflows, and teams that candidates on the other side were trying to navigate. I've designed ATS configurations, written recruiter playbooks, built employer brands from scratch, and sat in thousands of debriefs where hiring decisions actually got made.

When AI started showing up in those systems, I was the person deciding which tools to adopt, how to configure them, and where they actually helped versus where they created noise. I've evaluated the platforms, signed the contracts, and lived with the results at a moment when most people are only experiencing this technology from the outside.

I wrote An Insider's Guide to Getting Hired because most candidates are navigating a process that was never designed for them, making decisions based on incomplete information and measuring themselves against silence. The knowledge in these pages is not secret. But it is rare. And the candidates who have it consistently outperform the ones who don't.

This is my way of leveling the playing field.
